I work with oil paint creating figurative and portrait work. I try to capture people caught in a moment, the essence of an emphatic feeling between people or when they are lost within themselves. The work is intimate; subtleties of gesture and expression interest me that can convey a vulnerability, honesty and depth of feeling.
