Honey & Huckleberries: February 2015
http://www.honeyandhuckleberries.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2015. Daily photos: 116-119/365 (and a warning to not read if you're a vegetarian). On Monday we went down to Creston via Nelson and the ferry. This seemed like a fun idea but in reality took a million years and we were all a bit grumpy by the end. On the plus side, we were on the ferry for golden hour and it was amazingly beautiful. It's Ria's birthday on Saturday (5! And my grandma came down with a gift for her. Ria was showing her how she could make a heart with her hands. Art tim...

Honey & Huckleberries: Daily Diptych: 256-261
http://www.honeyandhuckleberries.com/2015/08/daily-diptych-256-261.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. Ria was very excited to show me this thing she made. I'm not sure how the feather enhances the reading experience but I was informed that it was very important. (and yes, she is reading a bird guide). At her friend's birthday party. She said to me "sometimes I just stare at the other kids." I asked her why. "because.I'm not sure why they are doing things." I hear you. We went to the spray park with Lewis "Our little baby friend" who is really not a little baby anymore.

Honey & Huckleberries: June 2015
http://www.honeyandhuckleberries.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 29, 2015. I took these a few days before Leah's maternity shoot to check out the light. It's just a little space beside the road where I go for my daily walks, but this time of year it's a magical fairy meadow. And yes, I know they look like angels, please note that their dresses are covered with dirt and stains, and that I did bribe them with ice cream. Saturday, June 27, 2015. Saturday, June 20, 2015. The magic of growing my own food never gets old. Saturday, June 13, 2015. Ria got her fac...

Honey & Huckleberries: The Daily Diptych
http://www.honeyandhuckleberries.com/p/the-daily-diptych.html
So in November of 2014 I started a new daily photo project (I just couldn't wait for the new year! I'm taking two photos a day that pair together, a diptych. I'm hoping that I will not just get the benefit of daily practice, but also think more about composition and storytelling by having two photos together. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, August 6, 2015. Our huge plum tree is ripe. Well, it's not our tree, but so much of it hangs into our yard that I was able to make a few quarts of chinese plum sauce. So much yummier than what you get in your take out. Sand sculpture down at the park. I think that guy on the left once had another arm, but who can say? Karen was teaching the girls to do cartwheels. With limited success. What is Ria doing? August 6, 2015 at 7:55 PM. My girls always flying too :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Honey & Huckleberries: January 2015
http://www.honeyandhuckleberries.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 31, 2015. I'm sure we'll get more snow yet, but we're happy to pretend it's spring while we can. Friday, January 30, 2015. Strong Start. A magical land of princesses and unicorns. Sunny makes the funniest faces, even while listening intently. Thoughts on a Minimalist Pantry. I cleaned out my kitchen cupboards last week. Again. What is the deal? I also have a drawer half full of spices and half utensils, and a cupboard above the stove with bottles, but really, how many shots of my cupboa...
