Muistiinpanoja pikkuisen rivitalopihan rakentelusta. Tästä se alkoi. Muutimme joulukuussa 2013 paritalosta tähän 80-luvulla rakennettuun rivariin. Kevät paljasti karun totuuden. Edellinen asukas kyllä kertoikin, ettei ole varsinainen viherpeukalo. Noiden puulaattojen kohdalla on aiemmin kasvanut tuijia. Onneksi ei enää. Laattojen välissä punaherukka. Puolet plantaasista on siis mäkeä. Huh huh, mitähän tästä vielä tulee? Ensin käydään kiveyksen kimppuun. Päivän työt on tehty. Apumiehen lepohetki.

Kokeilin yhteen ruukkuun pyöreiksi jalostettuja porkkanoita. ihan maistuu porkkanalle, mutta saisihan näitä olla aika monta purkillista, jos aikoisi oikein satoa korjata. No, naatit oli kauniita. Sipuli, lepän käpy, nokkonen ja punasipuli. Punasipulista tuli yllättäen puhtaan ruskeaa, yleensä väri on vihreä. Kuulemma kauniin omenanvihreää väriä.

Tuntuu, että kaikki on niin ränsistynyttä ja ankeaa, että piti kaivaa viime vuoden kuvat esiin. Onhan täällä jotain tapahtunut! Tarhaviinikärhö mme Julia Correvon ja jalokärhö Jackmannii viime vuonna. Kukinta vain näyttää aika laihalta. Muistiinpanoja pikkuisen rivitalopihan rakentelusta. Syksyn halla vei daaliat, muutama ylärinteestä pelastui vielä maljakkoon. Daaliat ja knollit menevät tänä viikonloppuna talviunille työpaikan kylmäkellariin. Daaliat vain muovipussiin, knollit pakkaan varmuuden vuoksi kylmälaukkuun. Kaikki rinteen ruukkuistutukset eivät ehtineet kukkia. Tämä isokukkainen on erityisen sitkeä. Kukka on hienosti vaalean violetti keskustasta ja vaalenee reunoille päin. Aurinkoisessa penkissä daaliat kukkivat lähes ajallaan.
