Wednesday, May 27, 2015. You will notice in almost every picture that I take of Matty J, Payton is pretty close by. She sneaks into most of the shots. She loves him and he loves her. He shows his affection for her by pulling at her ears, hitting her, grabbing her tail, and poking her eyes. She shows her affection for him by licking him continuously, stealing his toys, following him around when he crawls, and eating his food. It is a beautiful relationship. Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Monday, February 16, 2015. Matty J is eating solids! We started with rice cereal mixed with carrots this morning and he ate it all up with a smile! Saturday, November 29, 2014. Our girl, Payton, has done this with all of the boys. It is so sweet to watch such a big, hyper dog be so gentle. She definitely loves her brothers! Thursday, July 23, 2015. We had a great time and Aunt Peachy got a first hand tour of the ranch, complete with petting the cows! Because I had just one child to look after, I was able to participate in the conversation and really enjoyed my time out there! Friday, August 28, 2015. We are LOVING having Nana back in town! She reads books better than anyone else! Monday, August 24, 2015. Matty J is ELEVEN Months! Only one more month until this little guy turns ONE! I can't believe it! He started walking about two and a half weeks ago and hasn't slowed down! He no longer crawls at all; walking is his preferred method of transportation now! I couldn't even get him to sit down for these pictures! I was chasing him all over the front yard! Friday, October 31, 2014. These two boys can't get enough of their new brother! Russell was chosen by his teacher as the True Blue Wolverine for the month of September. His teacher read the nicest things about him in front of the school, and Nana, Tommy and I beamed with pride from the audience. We always talk about being smart or athletic as God given gifts, but having good character is something that doesn't come naturally; you have to work on it all the time. We are so proud of you! Wednesday, July 22, 2015. 4th of July- AKA Joe's Christmas! We love the 4th of July at the Devany house! Joe refers to it as his favorite holiday or "His Christmas." Since it was Matty J's first 4th of July, I had to take a few pictures with his "first" sticker. Then it was on to the festivities. What's happenin' with the Hadleys. Sunday, September 15, 2013. Kyle got a few-week break between semesters, which was his first break in year-round schooling, so it was nice! We were able to go up to the Kyle's grandparent's ranch in Panguitch, Utah for a week at the beginning of August. We played games, hiked, rode four wheelers, fished, etc. Hiking in Red Canyon.
