At this point, Kai was returned to captivity since he kept trying to run away from us - he was not too pleased. There were lots of interactive displays and Noah enjoyed exploring them while Kai and I searched for hiding animals. Lucky for Noah, his very pregnant mom happened to be craving an ice-cream - it was also an easy way for me to lure the boys away from the playground! Fun on the bus:.

Thursday, July 30, 2009. Happy 3rd Birthday, Noah! It's hard to believe that it's been three years since we welcomed our first-born on a hot, humid Wednesday afternoon in Atlanta! Birthdays certainly take on much more importance now than they did just a year ago. Noah was excited about the prospect of presents, cake and birthday singing. The morning started with the opening of gifts (with visiting grandparents, that meant a bit of a larger pile than usual) :. The art of gift opening was quickly acquired.

He was very cooperative about me playing "dress up" while I tried them on him to see which one we should use. I think they are equally cute (of course, I'm just slightly biased). Saturday, August 29, 2009. Minnesota State Fair 2009. Another major aspect of the fair is the food. There is a ton of it and about 99% of it is total crap. Simply put, it's a terribly unhealthy, junk food orgy. Seeing this is our third time, we decide to branch out from the normal pronto pup fare and add a new "dish" to our fair food portfolio. Tuesday, August 10, 2010. One day while Noah was at camp, Kai and I headed to the Children's Museum in St Paul. It was such a nice outing for us both . Kai had fun exploring all the exhibits and I enjoyed just having to follow one child around instead of chasing after two boys running in opposite directions. RUSSELL PARTY OF FOUR. Saturday, October 18, 2008. The countertops were delivered right on time today- 9am sharp! It took about 3 hours from start to finish. These things are so beautiful- thanks to my architect husband. And his design. I'm not sure if the photo does them justice, but they are 8 feet long by 5 feet wide! If you knew my kitchen prior to this renovation you can only imagine how excited I am to have these new counters! This is an amazing piece of art! Check out the new faucet!
