It’s funny how so many of our memories tend to revolve around food. Sometimes it’s the big family celebrations and holidays, but often it’s the quieter day-to-day moments that stay with us. My grandmother passed away when I was only 8, but I can still vividly recall those moments shared with her, and how I wish some of her talent in the kitchen had rubbed off on me.
