An Artist’s Life. I stand up on my tippy-toes. And reaching way up high. I take the paint brush in my hand. And dip it in the sky. Then I take that color. And brush it on the white. It makes the sky I love to see. So purple bluey bright. Next I take a wider brush. And sweeping with my hand. I gather up the colors. That I see upon the land. Russet, Ocher, Umber. Purple is there too. I stroke them on the paper. Making ground beneath the blue. Finally I finish up. With lines and dots and z’s. Can you let go.
