Four Frozen Tavs: June 2005
http://alaskatav.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Documenting our next big adventure. Friday, June 24, 2005. And the days get shorter. Not so great at keeping my blog up to date, and I still haven't managed to post any pictures! I'm taking an online class this summer, and even though I can use some work time to get through it, it is turning out to be pretty intense and I don't have a lot of time for other things. Posted by alaskatav @ 1:10 AM. Links to this post. Sunday, June 19, 2005. It's a drenching rainy one here. Elyse got her very own baby doll ye...

Four Frozen Tavs: August 2005
http://alaskatav.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Documenting our next big adventure. Wednesday, August 24, 2005. Joe finally made it home after being stuck for about 6 hours in Seattle. We enjoyed his visit and he actually admitted that he had fun! Elyse is still asking about him, two days after he left, but it is getting less frequent. She talked to him on the phone last night, so now she picks up the phone and says "Joe? A couple of times a day. Posted by alaskatav @ 12:09 AM. Links to this post. Sunday, August 14, 2005. No more cake for me please!

Four Frozen Tavs: July 2005
http://alaskatav.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Documenting our next big adventure. Saturday, July 16, 2005. 9 weeks and a heartbeat. I am so excited because I got to hear the baby's heartbeat yesterday at my doctor's appointment. The doc wasn't sure if she would find it at this early date, but she did! Just helps make it feel more real instead of some abstract idea. The baby is about the size of a small grape or an olive (I like this stat from the books, so I'll probably continue to use it often). Well, I think that's plenty for now! It was wet and r...

Four Frozen Tavs: October 2005
http://alaskatav.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Documenting our next big adventure. Monday, October 24, 2005. Where did that belly come from? I thought I was probably about the same or smaller than last time. But I gues I do have more belly than at this point with Elyse. Sorry for the picture quality, but I am not going to fight with this thing anymore. 10/20/05 23 weeks 6/24/03 22 weeks. Ok, I won't try to put two pictures next to each other for a while! Elyse is about the same with the potty. She gets a kick out of going, but only feels the need...

Four Frozen Tavs: January 2006
http://alaskatav.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Documenting our next big adventure. Sunday, January 29, 2006. It's still cold here, hovering around -40 for about a week now (with highs of -30 and lows of -50! This baby is more active than Elyse was. This morning I snuggled up next to Ron and fell back to sleep, and the baby kept him awake with all of the movement. Tonight, when it had the hiccups, I put Elyse's hand on my tummy so she could feel the baby move. She got a kick out of feeling my tummy move and then leaned down and kissed it! I am surpris...

Four Frozen Tavs: February 2006
http://alaskatav.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Documenting our next big adventure. Monday, February 13, 2006. Not so patiently waiting. Elyse played in the cabinets while I made dinner this evening. She discovered this colander, put it on her head and said "I play football" (except it sounds more like fookball when she says it - so we are trying to ennunciate the "T" and point to our feet without making a big issue! That's about it for now! We'll keep you posted! Posted by alaskatav @ 12:44 AM. Links to this post. Sunday, February 05, 2006. I get to ...

Four Frozen Tavs: September 2005
http://alaskatav.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Documenting our next big adventure. Monday, September 26, 2005. It's been over a month since I posted! It was a nice visit, and we are looking forward to seeing them again in May. We got new windows in our apartment this week, which should mean less draft this winter and no need to cover them in plastic. Ron is particularly excited that we will have windowsills this year, and that the plants might actually survive the winter. Posted by alaskatav @ 5:10 PM. Links to this post. Four Frozen Tavs: March 2006
http://alaskatav.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Documenting our next big adventure. Sunday, March 19, 2006. We finally got Isaac's quilt in the mail - it was mailed before he was born and apparently sat at our post office for two weeks! And here is Isaac's. Every new great grandchild has to have their own baby quilt (she is up to 15! Ron stayed home today and we got to have some time together, which is rare for us. One thing we accomplished was to get the quilts up on the wall, as well as one that I had done. Posted by alaskatav @ 12:13 AM. I feel pre...

Four Frozen Tavs: December 2005
http://alaskatav.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Documenting our next big adventure. Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Happy Holidays at home. Sorry it's been so long since I posted, time has gotten away from me. We all went to my baby appointment today. Elyse and Ron got to hear the baby's heartbeat (which was about 140 today). The baby is still or again head down, but not necessarily to stay. Being the holidays, and having no will power because I am always hungry, I've already gained 29 pounds! I finished up my class - whew! Ron is feeling better after t...
