Thursday, December 20, 2012. Last minute home made gift! This past fall, our craft group. Made wreaths out of scraps of fabric. I needed a quick. And I thought about how simple. So I chose to make a ' winter one'. As they had a 'Christmas One' but nothing else. I chose to use netting, instead. Of ribbon and fabric. And a clearance winter ribbon. I used a roll of netting. As it made it easier to cut rectangles. With this netting, I used the same techinique. As in the original post. I added the blue ribbon.

Brushes, and of course,. I began by cleaning my frame, and taping off the glass. I then painted the glass. With the black chalkboard paint. Just a little fyi. The directions said to. Let dry one hour. And then apply the second coat. NOPE, DON'T DO IT! So, I let it sit for. And then was able to apply the second coat.

Grated, mixed and created the homemade laundry soap. So I wanted to share their hard work. These are the ingredients: 2 boxes of baking soda, 1 box of borax, 1 container of oxi clean laundry. Whitener, 6 bars (grated) of fels-naptha bar soap, 1 box of washing soda, and Purex Scent Crystals. And added the rest.

I wanted to use items that anyone could afford. So I purchased all my ingredients from the $1.00 store. I spent a total of $5.00,. Which included the placemat. Two flower stems, one greenery stem, and ribbon. And an 'I love you' balloon. For and extra dollar. I began by folding and gluing my placemat. And no glue yet.
