He worked hard and he actually finished it about two months before his birthday but the scouts had a summer break so there were no pack meeting. Finally in Sept. he was able to get the award. Saturday, September 18, 2010. Gone, is my ATV. My cute little yellow ATV! We saved our money and got us our very own ATV's and a cute yellow one for me. I was so freeing to ride those babies in the beautiful mountains and just for awhile I was in control of my life. I think that the dance festival is one of my favorite end of the school year activities. The kids did such a cute job with their dances. Friday, May 28, 2010. I love the dance festival! It is my favorite thing about the end of the year. Each grade learns and performs a dance. The kids did a great job. Parker was cracking me up, he was very into his dance, The Virginia Reel. Hailey danced to a song from High School Musical. Megan danced to We Go Together, from Grease. Thursday, October 29, 2009. We had the annual Holt Family Halloween party. We all got dressed up and went to Grams for the party. We played games, ate and the kids had a cake walk. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins and playing Halloween games. Thanks Grams for the fun time! It has been a great fall and I am sad to see it end. Sunday, March 29, 2009. Today is Christophe and Ian's birthday. Jenny, her family, Matt, his family and Daniel all came to Mom and Dad's to celebrate. We had pizza, cupcakes and ice cream. Then Ian opened his presents. While the kids where playing with the new toys, the adults either went down stairs to watch basketball or stayed upstairs and played Trivial Pursuit on the Xbox. Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Chloe turned a year old a month ago tomorrow. We were going to have a party for her on February 21st, but for certain reasons we postponed it. We ended up having a party with my family for all three babies with birthday's three weeks apart. Melissa was nice enough to make cakes for each baby. Friday, December 4, 2009. A girl after my own heart. So Chloe really loves to put things in her mouth. Normal baby. She really loves to put shiny metal things in her mouth, silverware, watches, necklaces. A few weeks ago we went out to lunch with my Dad and Mom and Uncle Ben. Ben was finished eating and holding Chloe on his lap and this is what happened. . . Yep, that's right, she is eating salt. She is her mother's daughter. OK OK, she is not eating the salt, just the lid that is shiny and silver.
