We wanted to try Chung Wah 100 metres away but the queue was too long, the sun was scorching hot and it was too small a place to accommodate 11 of us. Nonetheless, Hoe Kee was not bad. It is located on a “red light street” where the shophouses are all lit up with red lanterns, but it is not a sleezy place. Location: Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, 75200, Melaka, Malaysia (Next To Jonker Walk). The asam fish was the best way to end our night in the heart of Melaka.
