Writings, wondering, and stuff. About Tales and Such. House in the cul-de-sac. January 23, 2015. Should have been on Monday, but now it is on the darkest hour of Thursday/Friday. Remember the 80’s? It rained every single day, so we splurged on a cabin with a fellow hiker (...At Standing Indian ...

A Walker's Ramblings. She was a girl with mountains to climb. Book Prologue →. Heart of the Night. July 30, 2014. It is a wet start for us in the morning. A thick fog hugs the trail looking like puffy white cotton candy. We are soon dripping with sweat on this humid day. Past the Governor Clement Shelter, we arrive at a sign with big red letters, stating that the trail is closed due to hurricane damage from two years ago.
