Wednesday, June 2, 2010. And the Howard's started off the summer with a trip to the beach! The trip was a last minute decision, but it turned out to be an awesome getaway. This was Z's only second time to the beach, and she was too young the first time to remember much about it. She had a great time playing in the waves of the ocean with Daddy! When we weren't basking in the sun by the ocean, we stopped for a game of "golly golf" and we took some time to play in the many swimming pools at the hotel.

Saturday, January 2, 2010. Christmas was once again a great time spent with wonderful family that we are thankful to have. On Christmas Eve, we went over to Staci's for the traditional Howard family get together. On Christmas Day, we went over to Dreama's for the traditional Buttner family get together. As Big J says, our two families are like night and day, but we always enjoy the roller coaster ride through the holidays! Hopefully, I will get some photos posted soon. A Touch of Winter. New Years day was a a four hour ride with the fast folks in 20 degree temps, one mountain climb and one flat/2 tire changes at the top of the mountain. Most of us spent the time huddling from the wind. Gotta get back on the bike regularly. Cohutta 65 will be here soon! What am I listening to right now? On board, Loveless by Bare Jr. Ha!

Meeting.Big J and I were nominated for Board positions.guess that's what happens when you show interest. After munching on pizza, discussing trail building and the multitude of projects they have on the horizon several of us including Barry, Jeffrey and Eric hit Bluewater. For Martini Monday. Great fun was had, including a visit from Wendy and Rebecca. Cake day, and it was carrott.
