I was just charting out our summer with the kids, and wow! It looks kind of busy. They don’t get out of school until mid-June (I kind of wish they got out earlier, but you can’t have everything, and it means that I can teach a summer class while they’re still in school). Temperatures here in Charlotte plummeted on Sunday and this week, especially the first few days, has been super chilly. Every night we've had "discussions" about what is okay to wear to school right now. Momma thinks pants and long sleeves, maaaaybe short sleeves. Around mid day on Saturday, I noticed Sophie started having some strong contractions and I knew that the time was nearing for her to have her puppies. Around two, Sophie started pushing. By 2:28 the first healthy girl was born. She will be known as Eleanor during her 8 week stay with us. After an hour and a half had passed, another healthy girl was born. In twelve days, Josh will be finished with all of his work! I am on the countdown, but still trying to wrap my mind around this. It has gone by so quickly.
