The jumps and twirls of my life, with God taking the lead. Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Willow is growing fast! These days it seems as though she is 1/2 baby and 1/2 toddler. We're going full-on with solids; she loves bananas, hummus, apples, winter squash, olives, beans, yogurt, cottage cheese, pears. you name it! Willow's trying olives. Mmmmm! The jumps and twirls of my life, with God taking the lead. Monday, June 25, 2012. Now We Are 3. Yup, I fell off the face of the planet. Don't worry, though. I've got a bungee cord tied to my waist to keep me from floating off into outer-space. Since I last posted. I've had a baby! She came 5 weeks early. so I "lived" at the NICU temporarily for 3 weeks until she came home. We weren't really. prepared. so it has been a bit chaotic. BUT, we are doing great now! The due date is June 11 to be exact, though we all know that the likelihood of the little one to be born on their due date is quite slim. We have lots of time, right? Ian and I prayed about it, and we just felt like I should go ahead and pursue it anyways. I'm not really sure how to explain that feeling. It's not like I heard God say out loud, "Do This." For all the years that I lived there, there had always been talk of the fire risk. Everyone was careful to the extreme; after all, we all lived in a very very dry forest! Then last summer there was a fire. in Colorado Springs! That's backwards. isn't Black Forest the high risk area? My childhood hometown is burning. Friends and family have evacuated, some of them losing their homes...
