Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Here are the last of my "Happy" shots until I have time to get to town and take some more. We have several historical markers around town, which I think will be fun to share. My sister has posted some of her pictures from our stroll around town on her blog. I liked reading what she remembers from our childhood. This is the Brooks Memorial Chapel. It used to be the Presbyterian church. It's the church where my brother, sister and I were christened. It's now owned by Attebury.

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Our hotel burned Sunday. It was an old building, it had not been used as a hotel in years. When I was a kid, an antique. Store was there briefly. The building was old and in disrepair. That being said, it was our building, a part of our town's history. Once upon a time, people spent the night there. Sunday, May 2, 2010. I started by taking a sweet family's pictures. God provided BEAUTIFUL weather. Nice! ThenI have been waiting to take Kyton's pics. The time just got away after his birthday on September 14th. I finally did it. The shirt is almost too small, never worn, but pressed and in my closet waiting. We had fun. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Teagen had his first game on Saturday morning. I even got a bit of sun! He is on the Happy Gold team coached by not only Cory McCarley, but. Chad McCarley as well. Trevor was a ref! He gets to be on cousin Craig's team too! He told us he is playing next to what Dad played. He blocked and had a fun game. Much different than that little boy from last year. Where did he go! We will miss this week. Because we are headed to Dallas for a shower for Aunt Jana and (baby Blessing).

Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Santa Recently made a stop at The Grand here in Happy. Sadie wants an electric scooter and a Paperjamz guitar. T.S. wants a Paperjamz guitar and a compound bow. Let's hope they made it on the "good" list. We celebrated Thanksmas (early Christmas) and Thanksgiving with family then headed to Aledo for Bow Thanksgiving. The cousins had a ball building their clubhouse in the woods. We all enjoyed meeting Evan- I'm sure he was thrilled to be held by all of us for so long.

Saturday, October 24, 2009. Halloween Carnival was tonight. Teagen played a flag footba. Ll game this morning and we had fun with friends. Bailey recovered from putting a button on her tooth again and worked on a project all day until.we transformed into Carrie Underwood and Happy Cowboys. Wednesday, November 25, 2009. WRCA with Chance and Haw Jim- pop guns! Bowling and Taco Bell with the boys! Bailey placed 1st Intermediate at the Food Show for County which enabled her to be able to go to the District Food Show in Bushland on the 21st. She placed in the top four! So did Craig in the juniors and Mackenzie got first place in senior Fruits and Vegetables which qualifies her for state in College Station in June. Yeah! Thursday, March 17, 2011. Craig feels Nugget to decide what to feed. The Coach and the team watch Alisa in the ring. We had another fun stockshow experience- somehow I didn't do a very good job of documenting it. Sadie and Nugget didn't do too well, but we were pleased that our cousin Sandy and her neighbor came down to watch. If you're interested in what we've been up to, check the family blog, here. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Surprisingly, we have kept our electricity all day. The sleet has turned to light snow. In the pictures, most of the accumulation is sleet. We just got word that school is cancelled again tomorrow. I'm off to get the kids started on a puzzle.
