http://merrymomdays.blogspot.com/2012/06/go-to-zoo.html
Pre-K teacher turned stay-at-home mommy. Thursday, June 7, 2012. Go to the Zoo. So the first item to cross off our Summer Bucket List is. The day started off pretty wet and rainy. A little rain didn't stop us. This guy came running (full speed) towards us. I wish I had got it on video but I was to busy ducking in the corner. Didn't seem to phase daddy or AK. Snack time in the Gorilla Viewing Room. Just some Zoo porn for you. I think these guys were AK's favorite. We rode the train after lunch.

Merry Momdays: November 2011
http://merrymomdays.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Pre-K teacher turned stay-at-home mommy. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Touchless Finger Painting Fall Leaves. We did some "mess-free" finger painting this morning. I used Fall paint colors and squirted it onto wax paper then covered it with another piece of wax paper. Then I let Avery bang, smush and smash as much as she wanted. I also helped her to get good coverage. After we had enough, I pulled the paper apart to let dry. They look especially nice when the sun hits them. :). Posted by Yours Truely.

http://merrymomdays.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Pre-K teacher turned stay-at-home mommy. Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day! My sweet mother sent me these beautiful flowers and as they began to wilt AK and I decided to have some fun with them! First, using contact paper we made a pretty flower petal collage to hang on our back door. We added the leftover flowers to the water play bucket and made flower soup! Posted by Yours Truely. Merry Momdays: Tulip Sensory
http://merrymomdays.blogspot.com/2012/02/tulip-sensory.html
Pre-K teacher turned stay-at-home mommy. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. When my red tulips from Valentine's day started to fall over I decided it was time for AK (16 months) to do some sensory playing. I cut them off and put them in a bin and let her explore the texture, fragrance, and colors. You can just see the little gears turning. This is a fun age! Posted by Yours Truely. Merry Momdays: October 2011
http://merrymomdays.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Pre-K teacher turned stay-at-home mommy. Saturday, October 29, 2011. Daddy came home early from work so we could carve our pumpkin! AK watched her daddy carve out the top and empty the pumpkin guts. She had played with the pulp and seeds. She even tasted the pulp and did not like it so she decided she had enough of that. Mommy and Daddy each drew a jack o' lantern face and we held them both up for AK to decide which one we would carve. Daddy carved out the face and AK and mommy watched. I will call it.

Pre-K teacher turned stay-at-home mommy. Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Playdoh and Dry Pasta. This is a good activity for a 1.5 year old. I only had to tell her twice that, "playdoh is not food so we don't put it in our mouth." I used adjectives to describe the playdoh as she played. Posted by Yours Truely.
