Taylor Tribune: January 2012

Sunday, January 29, 2012. The gift I was most excited to give to our kids was a trip for our whole family to our timeshare on Oahu. In their stockings were the letters H A W A I I, and it didn't take long for them to unscramble them and figure it out. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Matt and Marc's Missions.

Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Pinewood Derby- Year 2. Cooper with his second place car and Camden with the first place winner! For posterity's sake, I have to mention that the super-intense race track guy told Cam and Coop that their cars were fast enough to compete in the national race and that they were the second and third fastest cars that had ever raced on his track. Who knew people cared that much? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Pinewood Derby- Year 2. Matt and Marc's Missions.

Taylor Tribune: October 2010
http://taylortribune.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 04, 2010. I was so ready for this trip this year. It is definitely my favorite place to vacation with my kids. This year we went in September, instead of our traditional May. The time of year was great, and we were able to get the deal where you get a 5-day park hopper for the price of a 3-day. So, we took advantage and enjoyed 5 days in the parks. Heaven! Peter Pan was our first- and my favorite- ride. And she was very skilled with a lightsaber, thanks to her two older brothers.). All Ch...

Monday, November 01, 2010. The kids finally decided on costumes this year. I should say the boys finally decided. Lucy always wanted to be Reepunzel, but she ended up switching her dresses for each of her parties and activities. Once the boys decided, they were happy to be ninjas and to run around in the neighborhood ninja gang. I had no idea how many kids wanted to be ninjas this year! Kids love it, and I get watch them go around even if I'm the one handing out the candy. Cooper is convinced he is.

Thursday, August 25, 2011. Friday, August 19, 2011. Wednesday, August 17, 2011. We have said goodbye to too much family this year. While everyone who has moved has done it for wonderful reasons, we are sad to see them go so far away. Ben and Olivia and family moved to Virginia because Ben now works for Senator Lee. The change was a big one, but they seem happy. Now we have a place to stay when we visit Washington DC- a place I have never been! Yes, they are 93 and almost 92.) They are such amazing pe...

Monday, November 28, 2011. I hate it when I post out of order. How annoying! Halloween was wonderful this year. The weather was perfect, the parties were kept to a minimum, and the costumes were earned with sticker charts. I got a lot of help around the house in October. Smart mom. My children get their knack for spazzing out in front of the camera from their dad. But I sure do love them! Lucy, my most helpful child, was awesome at getting Charlotte to look at the camera. I definitely missed seeing all m...

Sunday, May 29, 2011. I told most of you I have been busy planning parties! I didn't want Shea to feel left out. His birthday is at the end of birthday-palooza around here. I tend to always be burned out by the time it's his turn. I take the easy way out and lump his cake with the kids, and we just go to dinner to celebrate. This year we went to dinner at Tuscany on his birthday. It was so yummy! I love spending time with my husband. Ire department to check everything out. That was exciting! Then the fir...

Thursday, September 29, 2011. Happy Birthday, Baby Girl! Little Stinker Pot turned 2 this month! Now I just drink mine in the closet or during her nap. :). Baby Girl got her own 3-wheeled scooter, and it made her very happy! She is, however, the queen of the neighborhood and is still stealing every other toy she can from all the neighbors' garages. She was in heaven with two new dress ups that actually fit her. I don't know who loves Rody, the pink hoppy horse, more- Charlotte or her brothers and sister.
