Monday, February 6, 2012. Time sure flies when you're busy! And boy have we been busy lately. I shake my head in disappointment as I realize my last post was in early fall, 2011. Ekkk! Since that time, so many crazy, exciting, and well, not so exciting things have happened. Here is the CliffsNote of the past 5 months. 1 Lucy turned 3. 2 The girls moved to Macdonald Montessori School (and love it). 3 Thanksgiving in Missouri. 4 Christmas at the Cabin. 5 James still recovering from throwing his back out.

We spent time at the park, the Children's Museum, and the dinner table. In this day and age, weekends like this are too few and far between. But, I will remember this one for awhile. Lunch with Joe at Round Barn Winery restaurant. Trying to Jump for Joy! Day after wedding it was time to explore the Michigan wineries with the Rody's. 150 year old Catalpa tree wedding venue. I had had my fair share of BH contrax throughout the pregnancy.but this was the first of what I'd describe as painful, aching contractions felt mainly in my lower back/legs. Friday, Sept 23rd (40w6d). Aunt Kimmy rolled in with treats, my mom and mother in law came a few hours later and things were going perfectly. By midnight, I was at a 9. Monday, September 24, 2012. Happy birthday to our Ruby girl. Tuesday, September 4, 2012. August 30th my baby had her surgery. We arrived at Children's Hospital at 6:30am and were brought back relatively quickly to get things started. I woke Ruby up to feed her at midnight since she couldn't eat past midnight and my little girl LOVES to eat. I photographed this family when their little guy was born 2 months ago and I was elated when they contacted me to come do some more family photos. It was so much fun following this family around. I learned we had a lot in common ( we both have family in the Corpus Christi, TX area). We braved the wind and cold for a few family poses outside and it was worth it because this family is absolutely stunning! I can't wait to work with you again!
