Saturday, November 26, 2011. On the Up and Up. I've decided to settle. My 12-month goal was, initially, to play the title role in Aida. But now, I'm not so sure. Every time I think of that, the thought immediately crosses my mind that I can't do that. Why not, I ask myself. And I realize the answer is that I just don't have the history to prove that I can. Sunday, March 11, 2012. Wow, it feels like 8 months since I've last blogged. That's mostly due to the fact that I've been totally out of whack readjusting to life at home. Okay, so I've been here since September, but this whole 'no space' thing.sure takes some getting used to. That's not what this entry is about. Is there something in your life that causes inspiration to just click. Into place for you? For me, it's jazz. Ella Fitzgerald. But the depressed and unproductive parts are getting closer each day.

Ya win some, ya lose some, but I've lost two (maybe more) good gigs this past week alone, due just to some poor timing, which I blame on my lack of ability to connect to the web on the go. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. In this new year, I can honestly say I have found a new sense of peace. And thank goodness for that, because this whole neurosis thing was just not poppin'. Every time I go to rehearsal for "The Pajama Game", I wonder who I'll invite to the show- industry reps, family/friends, former teachers.and then I picture myself up on Broadway, The Great White Way. Thursday, August 18, 2011. No longer] Waiting for Life to Begin. Having recently graduated from AMDA (YAHOOOOO! I have just ended my post-graduation vacation! I spent some time in Arizona with my second family, and chilled in the northern California Bay Area with long-lost friends and more family. What a trip :-). While I was in Arizona, I decided to get my money's worth out of my Actors Access account. For the first time, I submitted myself to roles! Of them. So as not to get too. They'll be calling me!
