Open Compute Project (OCP), the current movement with hardware engineers, organized their 5th Summit in San Jose, CA , just a block from where I stay and I got a chance to attend it. What’s more, it was free and had tons of innovation in the data center space. Facebook’s story and lessons intrigued me the most and I found it worthwhile to share them.
