Thursday, October 31, 2013. We had a beautiful mermaid and an adorable little golfer at our house for Halloween this year! Sophia loves to pretend that she's a mermaid when we are swimming so when I saw this costume I HAD to get it. It's so cute and you can even swim in it! SO thankful for our new neighborhood friends! Typical… S is enjoying a piece of Halloween candy and Carsten is messing with my fall decor :-). And seriously… how amazing do my flowers look for almost November? And mine too :-). I fail...

Friday, January 3, 2014. Now that it is starting to get dark a little earlier we have a little more time in the evening to play inside after dinner. Normally that when we would go for a go for a walk or play outside, but in the winter it gets dark and cold so much earlier. Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Visit with the Ruby's! Lacy (one of my Pi Phi pledge sisters and best friends) and her husband Steve were in town this week to go to Great Wolf Lodge so they got to come by and visit us. Their kids (Maggie and Rett) are the same age as Sophia and Carsten so they love getting to play together. It's always so fun to see them! Thursday, September 26, 2013. Sweet Sophia turns 5! How i the world is my baby 5 years old already? I feel like I blinked and the years just flew by. We could not be more proud of the sweet, empathetic, kind, smart, passionate girl that she has become. She amazes us everyday and I know God has big plans in store for her. Sunday, December 22, 2013. We had the Webb's and the Kaler's over for pizza and wine tonight. My parents just happen. Friday, June 27, 2014. 4th of July Pics a Week Early {June 2014}. I wanted to get a couple festive pics of these cuties before Independence Day so we took some the week before. The lady at the hair place totally butchered Brothers hair a few days before and it was a hot mess. I was sad for a second and then remembered it would grow back in like a month :-) So we went with the spiky look. They love to dance :-). He loves her soooo much. They are so sweet to one another and it melts me daily.

Thursday, May 29, 2014. Last Day of School! It is SO hard to believe how much they have grown this year! Especially Carsten because he didn't start until mid-November when he turned 18 months. Sophia- August 2013 and May 2014. November 2013 and May 2014. We took a few pics before heading off to the kid's last day of school before summer break. I'm not sure who is more excited about a non-scheduled summer- me or them- but I'm thinking it is probably me! Of course Brother had to get in on the action.
