New desk much nicer (and goes through the door in one piece! Downstairs all ready. Time for Star Trek!

Just waiting for the plumber to come back from skiing - not that I am jealous at all :-( Varnished the mantelpiece. Got the chimney swept. Expected to see Mary Poppins up there dancing with a bunch of Sweeps. Bought my DVD recorder at last, thanks to Goldfish vouchers. Hopefully this will not only clear up the Sky box, but also the loft. full of VHS tapes. Wednesday, 14 January 2009.

The fact that they then spent Monday (while me and Chalkie were at Donington) cleaning windows and going to the dump and planting things and. implies that it wasn't good enough. Oh well.
