IMAD: International Mary Appreciation Day: February 2012

IMAD: International Mary Appreciation Day. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Final leg of the crawl; and, dinner. It's a very good thing Mary D had the notion to update the site throughout the day because apparently we are bad bad bad at following up after the event! The last stop, art-crawl-wise, was the AZ Gallery. Then it was off to Babani's. I'm starting to sort through my photos, and I'll see about posting a representative set before too much more time goes by. Friday, February 24, 2012. More art at MIA.

snide remarks: November 2014

View my complete profile. Saturday, November 15, 2014. When I was in junior high school, I was addicted to pinball. Any quarter I could muster, I would take to Lotsa Fun at the Har Mar Mall. And obscure game where you moved a hovering-saucer-riding alien, shooting other aliens it would meet at different points along the path. What made it challenging was that you had to multi-task in a way no other game required. Yep, I can't defy, nor will I ever totally shake, my arcade-like DNA. A Nod to Nothing.
