When I read a short piece like this I generally like to use a few reading strategies to help me piece it all together. The ones I used the most were the writing in the margins, circle key terms/points that I may have needed to look into or find the definition too, and I like to summarize key concepts that I feel the author is trying to make in each of the paragraphs.
