Wednesday, June 29, 2011. I bought a Living Social voucher for a 3-course dinner at Hapa Umi for two for $45. Happened to have something to do in Downtown later this night, so decided to use my voucher at Hapa Umi. I have never been to Hapa Umi before, but have passed by outside numerous times; I have been interested since I saw them open their doors around a year ago. One of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to. Here's what we ate:. Pemberton Meadows Beef Tataki 4.5/5. Green onion oil, spicy daikon.

Sunday, July 31, 2011. Well let's talk about the food now, it doesn't get much better here either. Probably the best part of the meal. My favourite Chinese dish of all time; I rarely have piglet because it is really expensive. Crispy and thin skin. Meat was not too fatty. Taste was perfect, not too salty. Pieces were cut perfectly small for putting into mouth in one bite. Skin could be a little more crispy. Refreshing for the summer heat. Lots of winter melon. Ingredients (shrimp, BBQ duck, etc) were good.
