Friday, October 31, 2014. Another Halloween card here! Once more in a not-too-scary manner! Don't want to frighten the kids. Again collage has been used by trimming out some 12 x 12 inch printed papers and mounting on a 6 x 6 inch white card blank. I have applied some coloured fine velvet ribbon on double sided tape in purple, black, orange, and glazed the 'Spook' word with Glossy Accents. I have added some black faux jewels. Sunday, September 28, 2014. I have entitled this card in line with the Less Is More Challenge for week 191. Whose theme this week is 'Mostly Words'. The stamps that came to mind and are by Stampers Anonymous by Tim Holtz (Urban Chic) and I had never used these two stamps together. Thursday, August 06, 2015. This is a postcard that have made for the UK Stampers. Monthly swap for August. The theme is to use a frame on your postcard. I started with a piece of white card 6 x 4 inches which I coloured with Distress Inks applied direct to the card. I used faded jeans and victorian velvet which I dried with a heat gun. Wednesday, 30 July 2014. I get very distracted in the holidays.I am meant to be packing but I keep getting sidetracked by my stashes of fabric lying about! I got this fabric at Sandown.just £5 a metre. Look at these fab little houses. When I was in America last year I bought a twister tool that is an easy way to make pinwheel quilts. I have been desperate to try it out so today I quickly whizzed up some four patches. Just look at my nested seams! And here it is all together! I like the bold pinwheels.
