calm down: Cousin Fun

I had gigs all day, but Dan took the kids up to Ft Collins for some fun with the cousins earlier today. I'm so glad they get to grow up together! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). calm down: Kindergarten for Emily!
http://alwaysmary.blogspot.com/2013/08/kindergarten-for-emily.html
Even though she's gone to preschool the last three years, it still feels like a big deal to send Emily off on the bus for her first day of Kindergarten! She's been very nervous about the bus, actually. Someone said something about "catching the bus" a while back, and ever since, she's been uncertain about how to "catch it." I've tried to explain that it will stop for her, but even last night, she was still very anxious about how it all works. Caleb is NOT excited about sending her off to school.

calm down: Halloweeen 2010
http://alwaysmary.blogspot.com/2010/11/halloweeen-2010.html
This was a much happier Halloween than last year to be sure. Emily was finally. Feeling healthy again (for the most part) and was actually quite excited to dress up as a zookeeper. She originally wanted to be a flower, a dog, or Curious George, but none of those costumes were available in her size. This zookeeper costume came with a little monkey for her to wear, and we found a monkey costume for Bix too. Bix's monkey hood didn't stay on very well; this is the only picture we could get with it on. Box in...

Tuesday, May 30, 2006. My homework is being a large, unforgiving, German dominatrix this week. And S&M is definetly not my thing. Posted by Sophie @ 8:08 PM. Tuesday, May 23, 2006. What are your interests, Sophie? What do you like to do? What are your talents and/or passions? What do you want out of life? What can you tell us about yourself? I have this awful feeling that this will only get worse. I genuinely feel that I owe someone an apology. Posted by Sophie @ 11:16 PM. Friday, May 12, 2006. Said Joel...

Train Wreck Below: November 2005
http://charmingtrainrobbery.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2005. Why am I here? What specifically do I have that the world needs? Am I doomed to be a tired, prematurely aged face in the masses of reasonably successful or not so successful malcontents? And more importantly, who the hell am I? We live in a world where all the children must be above average. Being average, to me, has always been a far more terrifying threat than actual failure. This is why I've spent so much time trying to be as unique as was possible without having to ...Aweso...

Train Wreck Below: March 2006
http://charmingtrainrobbery.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 16, 2006. Tonight I had Mexican food made by real Mexicans. Life is good. Without Mexico, the world would be a much sadder place. I am also totally fascinated by Rasputin, despite how exorbitantly creepy he was. I hope Anastasia escaped, and I hope she was happy wherever she ended up. I wish I was a Romanov. I think I'm taking AP Euro a bit too personally. Posted by Sophie @ 10:06 PM. Saturday, March 11, 2006. Posted by Sophie @ 10:54 PM. Tuesday, March 07, 2006. From J-Pan to the Yucatan.

calm down: Scottish Fest
http://alwaysmary.blogspot.com/2013/09/scottish-fest.html
Granny and Papa came to town for the big Scottish Fest in Estes Park, and we joined them up there for the fun on Friday and Saturday. We didn't get too many pictures, but here are the few we have:. Definitely no shortage of bagpipes! Caleb is always quick to make new friends. Excited for the parade to begin. Emily is our playground girl! When the kids are a little older, it would be fun to go back and stay for more than just the parade! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Bowl Full of Lemons.

calm down: First Halloween
http://alwaysmary.blogspot.com/2008/10/first-halloween.html
Much cuter photos to post tonight! See, Emily was a little cow for Halloween this year. We were both pretty sure that the head-piece wouldn't stay on for long, but much to our surprise, she never really noticed it was there and walked around happily all night with the whole costume on. Bix wasn't really involved in the festivities this year, but we did get this quick picture of the two of them. Am I'milking' this one for all it's worth? Seriously, I'm done now. VERY cute pics. :).
