Sunday, November 7, 2010. Journey vs. Destination. Ya know that saying that "' Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome. Well we took a fall hike 7 miles up to the base of the Mogollon Rim,. Through the fall foliage was incredible. We hiked from manzanitas, through sycamores, up to spruce. B R Udall Tribe. Sunday, November 10, 2013. Leaves are falling all around. When in St. Johns, we headed to Aunt Karma's house for Sunday dinner. The kids were intrigued by the many leaves covering the lawn, so Makai asked Uncle Ken if he had a rake. Boy, did he! He went to the warehouse and got a rake for each kid. Friday, January 22, 2010. We have no school because of all the snow. It gives me a chance to reminisce about our great snow days during the Christmas break. We went up to Greer and hit a honey hole for sledding with the GA cousins. Look out for the pink snow bunny! Love the redneck snowboots. Safeway bags tied on up to the knees, THEN put your shoes on. Ivy knew it wasn't fashionable and really tried to get them off.). There goes the shoe! Maybe I should hold your glasses next time. Another sunny AZ day.

Monday, May 31, 2010. My mom's family all are from "the Gila Valley." And the whole time I could feel the joy of Grandpa and Grandma Beals, Great-Grandpa and Grandma Beals and Fuller as they certainly were there. Comes on the youth temple trips (and we have had them at least every 2 months during the time I have been in.). Sunday, September 19, 2010. Ain't No Mountain High Enough. Coming into town, Escudilla (10,800 ft) is always calling to us - "Come enjoy the view.". Of course Trav has been up there hunting many times,. And we have taken the dogs to Terry Flat,. But never been to the top. . . until now. The Aspen groves were gorgeous. . . .
