Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Surviving the Disney Channel? Next up on my list was a new sketch comedy show for tweens on the Disney Channel - "So Random". To talk about "So Random", I'll have to start with a not so brief but hopefully interesting history lesson. It all starts with another Disney Channel show that debuted a couple of years ago, "Sonny With a Chance". And Camp Rock 2. Demi Lovato. More on her in a bit, but first "Sonny". Needless to say, the casts of the two shows do not get along. at all.

Friday, July 22, 2011. It's been a busy couple of weeks since returning from Europe. We returned to Minnesota again to the news that one of Meaghan's students had committed suicide, so we attended our second funeral of the week that Saturday. Between that and trying to get acquainted with the current goings-on at work, it was a difficult week. None of that is the real reason that I'm making the effort to break my silence at such a late hour, though. My reason? Sunday morning, Meaghan and I become WARRIORS.

At home we have a full compliment of foods so he can carelessly spend the time cooking all sorts of foods. However when Carey and I cook his absolute favorite things to eat. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Spending time with the uncles. The Christmas whirlwind is almost over. The Huebert family was in New Ulm for a couple days and we had fun eating, sledding, eating, skating, eating and watching movies. Dayne in particular had lots of fun spending time with his Aunt Jen, Uncle Matt, Uncle Troy and Uncle Chris. Couldn't quite make the connection between Aunts and Uncles. The best toy had? Saturday, January 29, 2011. Tonight Kaelin read Carey, Dayne and I his first book. Go Dog Go. Time flies when you're raising kids and working. I couldn't ask for a better life. In three days time we'll be flying down to Florida to take a Disney cruise and pop around to some of the theme parks (Sea World and Kennedy Space Center for sure).
