As with my biography, in this blog names of people and ships etc have been changed to protect those involved who are still around. THERE’S A LIGHTHOUSE ON MY FRONT VERANDAH. OK, so it’s not really a lighthouse and the verandah is more of a semi enclosed storm shelter that you go through before entering the house – but you get my drift. Some of the attendees are older than me and a few a bit younger, this motly lot really covered the years from the 50s to 90s, the Ducks turned up in the 70s and were very much the new kids on the block.
