Harry was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). In June 2007. He presented with what we now know were classic symptoms:. Tiredness and pale skin - Caused by anaemia (reduction in the number of red blood cells. Petechial rash and lots of tiny bruises - Casued by a reduction in the number of platelets. Enlarged liver and Spleen. Persistent fever and infections. Designed and built by Hoogatidge Media, part of the Hoogatidge Group.

When I was first dianosed with Acute Lymphoblasic Leukaemia (ALL) the treatment protocol I started on was UKALL 2003 Regimen A. The 'UKALL 2003' is the trial that was running at the time. The protocols are not the easiest things to understand. Designed and built by Hoogatidge Media, part of the Hoogatidge Group.

The London Olympics started on Friday 27th July 2012. They started while I was in Great Ormond Street Hospital following my second Bone Marrow Transplant. Although I should be out of hospital before the Games finish, I will not be able to go to any of the events as I'm not allowed to be in large crowds. This will not stop me getting into the spirit of the Olympics and enjoying them. Designed and built by Hoogatidge Media, part of the Hoogatidge Group.

I relapsed on 3rd May 2011, 9 months after getting the all clear. It was spotted during one of my monthly follow-ups. The Dr noticed that my liver was slightly enlarged. Blood tests didn't show anything, but when I had a bone marrow asparate the leukaemic cells could be seen under the microscope. To say this surprised everyone was an understatement! Designed and built by Hoogatidge Media, part of the Hoogatidge Group.
