Saturday, December 21, 2013. Framing, Sheathing and Roofing. The snow came a bit too early Friday due to safety concerns we closed down the site at noon. The entire house is completely framed with 4 hours remaining on the roof sheathing. Roofing is expected to start on Monday, windows and doors will also arrive Monday morning and be installed by noon. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. The finish line is in sight, and this little carriage house is looking great! Yesterday we painted the laundry closet and installed the stacking washer/dryer unit. Fortis came today to hook up the gas line, and the heating system was completed. The tile work in the upstairs bathroom is just about done, and and remaining flooring will be installed on Friday.
