Tuesday, September 23, 2014. For all you homeschool mama's, teachers and lovers of punctuation! This made me smile today. Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Photo a Day: Key. The key to the attic of our first home. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Photo a Day: I Don't Like. I don't like getting stopped by a train when I'm in a hurry. Men and women will usually eat separately. Wash your hands before eating. Older more respected persons begin. Eat in front of yourself. Eat only with your right hand...Always give a...

Grains of Sand: January 2014

Friday, January 31, 2014. You'll always learn something new if you keep an open mind. That is something my father-in-law inadvertently taught me. When I was newly married, my father-in-law gave me a carpet sweeper. If I'm being completely honest, I wasn't impressed by that carpet sweeper. It wasn't shiny, although it was new. I couldn't wear it or hang it on the wall for art. It didn't have any frills and wasn't even powered by electricity! Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Toffee posing for a Christmas photo.

Our first sighting of Mount Rushmore! We pr...

Monday, August 4, 2014. FOR TODAY August 4, 2014. Hazy sun with scattered thunderstorm's forecast. Of my Aunt Lissa. It's her birthday month. Happy Birthday month Aunt Lissa! For fresh produce from our garden. The tomato plants are so heavy with fruit that the tomato cages cannot hold the plants up anymore and two of the three fell over! That's a good problem I think. Tomatoes, cucumbers, jalapeno peppers, zucchini and Muddy Buddies. To be productive and efficient this week. I hope. Well, if I'm being co...

Wednesday, April 30, 2014. He Locked Me Out. He locked me out of the house today. A look passed over his face and he looked a bit confused. His reply, "Yeah, how did you get in? I was not impressed.
