As you may know, we had a great team of twelve people that participated in Beacon of Hope 2014 mission trip. Two of us were in. For the whole 5 week trip. The rest were there for either 2 or 3 weeks. Beacon Of Hope International. Saturday, August 2, 2014. Day 16, Friday Aug 1st-Bryan Watanabe. Today was our last day in Richards Bay as we headed down to Durban after breakfast. We said our goodbyes to Marjorie and Mavis as they did an awesome job taking care of us @ Zulu Lodge. Very thankful for their hospitality, friendly service and happy personalities. We bought a lot and it was fun bargaining. :). We ate dinner at Mugg and Bean inside the Suncoast casino and then we headed back to the Concord.

Today we headed to Lulu Academy, a small private Christian school in the center of a small village community, to teach the 6 hour program all in one day. The students all looked so bright in their purple, white, and black uniforms. Considering the length of the day, they were attentive and well behaved. . Friday, June 21, 2013. June 17, day 9. Ools on Wednesday the two teams taught a total of 117 students. The programs went well and the student responded to the program in a very positive way as normal. 106 of the students made commitments to abstinence, 60 were already Christians and 28 made new commitments to Christianity. Beacon Of Hope International. Monday, August 30, 2010. I think that today was the LONGEST day ever! We had a meeting with a large group of people that all have an interest in combatting HIV/AIDS. Each one of them had time to share or preach. We got to the church at 9 am and it didn't start until 10:45 and we finished at around 5:30! It's tough to sit in a chair that long!
