I ordered three and I was wishing I had ordered more. A dear friend asked, "Could you get me one of those big-holed graters with the recipes? Your grater looks exactly like the antique "wonder shredder" I have from my grandmother. Really heavy-duty and sturdy! We're looking forward to many years of yummy hashbrowns. What a great quality tool! Today we tried the Hashbrowner for the first time. Our hashbrowns were very yummy and the grater worked great.

The #5 Hashbrown Breakfast. Choose your potatoes as to how many will be served. A medium size potato will take approx. 3 minutes to cook halfway through. Scrub your potato and pierce it with a fork, then microwave them. Preheat your frying pan on medium heat and spray with pan-coating spray. Take your potato out of the microwave with an oven mitt and shred it into the heated pan with olive oil or vegetable oil and margarine using your Hashbrowner. I painted the carvings which really makes them stand out now. On the side I stenciled some feathers since it is a display shelf for my carved birds. Now the beautiful wood grain shows through.
