Thursday, October 28, 2010. Beach and Tide Pools. My sister from Arizona met us and hung out with us for a couple day. We all headed to the beach for the day. It was a cold day, but we had fun in the sand. We also made the local NBC News. It has been such a cold summer they were running a story on it. They interviewed my brother-in-law and got a close-up of Chase. Here is pics of the reporter filming us. We also ventured to some tide pools. The waves were gorgeous and the kids had fun catching crabs.

Grandma and Grandpa Go on a Mission. Monday, October 12, 2009. General conference in the Mission Field can be a lot of fun. We got our translated disks of the Hungarian during the week and on the weekend, we had conference just like everyone else except we had a wonderful meal on Saturday and Sunday between sessions. Grandma and Grandpa Go on a Mission. Friday, December 18, 2009. Now of course, Thanksgiving is not a traditional holiday. There are not pilgrims and indians to dress up like and no stories of how the indians saved our necks. (We repaid them so well too) But for the missionaries, this is a super pday, a whole day with no missionary attire! The elders were happy to eat anything I put in front of them but the mash potatoes with turkey gravy was the real essence of the meal for them. The Story of Baby Jude.

Sunday, April 10, 2011. February: the month of birthdays and love! Kelly turned 32 at the first of the month. Chase helped me decide what cake to make Kelly this year. He said it had to be BYU so this is what I came up with. Happy Birthday Daddy! We had a fun time celebrating Valentines Day! Chase helped me make sugar cookies. I frosted them and he put the sprinkles on. Everyone loved their gifts! Sunday, April 3, 2011. Here he is seeing for the first time and then testing it out on Christmas morning.

Sunday, September 26, 2010. We headed to the county fair the first of August. It is always fun to see the animals and experience the fair. Taylie wasn't sure what to think about the ducks. Chase loves Spongebob. Even if doesn't look like it from the look on his face! We decided to let Chase experience his first carnival ride. He was very excited because it had a gun.
