HaTcH: poetry analysis #2

http://hatch551.blogspot.com/2008/02/poetry-analysis-2.html

2008년 2월 13일 수요일. Hold fast to dreams. For if dreams die. Life is a broken-winged bird. Hold fast to dreams. For when dreams go. Life is a barren field. The reason why I chose this poem was because even though it is short, there are just so much more meaning and I wanted to show how the tone and the mood can be so different in just little play of words. I wanted people to see how much powerful just a couple of words could be and how much joy and hope it could bring to many different people.

2008년 1월 26일 토요일. English Poetry Post #1. This is the one song everyone would like to learn: the song that is irresistable:the song that forces men to leap overboard in squadron seven though they see the beached skulls the song nobody knows because anyone who has heard it is dead, and the others can't remember Shall I tell you the secret and if I do, will you get me out of this bird suit? Only you, only you can,you are unique At last. Alas it is a boring song but it works every time. Is a use of a man's ...

You know I LOVE poetry, so add your favorite poems to your blog site and comment on fellow classmates' choices. Have FUN with POETRY! Wednesday, January 23, 2008. I always saw, I always said. If I were grown and free,. I'd have a gown of reddest red. As fine as you could see,. To wear out walking, sleek and slow,. Upon a Summer day,. And there'd be one to see me so. And flip the world away. And he would be a gallant one,. With stars behind his eyes,. And hair like metal in the sun,. I have the silly gown.

Sunday, January 27, 2008. One Art by Elizabeth Bishop. The art of losing isn't hard to master;. So many things seem filled with the intent. To be lost that their loss is no disaster. Lose something every day. Accept the fluster. Of lost door keys, the hour badly spent. The art of losing isn't hard to master. Then practice losing farther, losing faster:. As long as I am, I will be. The flower will never wilt or die. As my life grows back, I shall become strong. I shall become only dependent on one. That one will be me. Wednesday, February 13, 2008. One Inch Tall by Shel Silverstein. If you were only one inch tall, you'd ride a worm to school. The teardrop of a crying ant would be your swimming pool. A crumb of cake would be a feast. And last you seven days at least,. A flea would be a frightening beast. If you were one inch tall. If you were only one inch tall, you'd walk beneath the door,. And it would take about a month to get down to the store. A bit of fluff would be your bed,. You'd swing upon a spider's thread,.

Linda's thoughts and ideas on everything. Thursday, October 18, 2012. I have not posted here in so long that I have forgotten how to even add a photo, which had been my general MO: post photo, write witty commentary, in that approximate order. It was the creation of this random blog that goaded me into taking more photos in the first place, so it is time to return to my pictures, my natterings and post away, brilliance be damned. Even the grocery carts were electric colors. Inspired. Love this wall o' sp...
