The last little bit. We've been having lots of fun over here the last week or so! About a week ago Tanner and I went on a cute little Seattle date. First, we went on a picnic to Alki beach and ate some delicious food and then we headed over to Safeco for the Mariners/Angels game! It was such a fun night, and the mariners beat the angels! 4th of july and an open house. This past weekend Tanner and I (and the rest of my family) all went to DC for our wedding open house! We took a red eye to get there and the whole weekend was very busy from the second we arrived. Back in February, my whole family got to go to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for a whole week. It was I N C R E D I B L E. We stayed in a cute beach house in Buzios and had so much fun going to beautiful beaches, exploring the city - it was great. Sunday, September 8, 2013. Well we have survived the first few weeks of school! Our favorite thing is that we get to walk to school. Kaden so excited to be in first grade! He was so excited that on the first day he woke up at 5:30 am to get ready to go. At the end of the day he said his favorite things were eating lunch at school with Trey and having 3 recesses. Trey happy to be in third grade! So far it has been a great school year and we can't wait to see all the adventures that await us this year!

Tuesday, December 3, 2013. We had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving! We ended up staying home with our little family playing and enjoying way too much food! The fascination of the day was smoking the turkey! I don't think we realized how long it was going to take,(7 hours), but it was delicious! When the kids saw that the fine china had been set out for dinner they all went and put on more dressy outfits. I was so impressed! While we waited for our turkey to cook the kids made tie-dye t-shirts!

I was a little nervous about sleeping right down on the beach so luckily we were able to find a spot up on a bluff but still had access to the beach. Sunday, July 14, 2013. Land (and house) that we love! The 4th of July is one of our favorite holidays! We had a fun time this year exploring all of the activities around our new area. We started the day off right and made homemade jolly rancher suckers because we needed a treat for our annual movie outing. we saw 'Monsters University'.
