Tuesday, February 28, 2012. For our 9-year anniversary (wow! J and I took a trip to Rome. We left Ally with family and spent a few days just wandering around, eating great food, and enjoying some time together before our latest addition to the family. Sunday, August 12, 2012. The oldest city in Germany, Trier has a lot of Roman ruins. This is the Porta Nigra, the only one left of seven gates that used to surround the city. This street performer was literally floating off the ground. I think his staff had some kind of support system built into it, but I was still impressed. The beautiful gardens at the palace. Monday, February 23, 2009. What's up now Martha Stewart? Four dozen cupcakes for the kiddo's 4th birthday party. It took me about 4 hours to get the marzipan just right and another 4 hours to bake, ice and decorate. It took the kids exactly 1 1/2 minutes to inhale them and ask for more. Thanks to Once Upon a Cupcake in Orange County, CA for the ideas. I probably would have bought them directly but I don't think they would have made it safely to Texas. Posted by Bardsley Family.
