Trader Joe's mango mochi ice cream balls; the amount of mochi ice cream ball consumption in this house is ridiculous). Facebook (nothing new, but the truth). Grimaldi's (It's been awhile, though.). Shoes, Sweets, and Stethoscopes: January 2013
http://katiebug1.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 2, 2013. I love a new year and a fresh start; a chance to set new goals and work on improving myself and building new skills and making new memories. I feel like 2013 is going to be a good year, even with the 13 and all. :) A few things I'm looking forward to:. 1) A new job! Or in other words, not having to work at Seven Hills anymore, ha ha. 3) Spending quality time with family, maybe even over the holidays! 4) A mother and daughters trip, destination to be determined. :).

Shoes, Sweets, and Stethoscopes: Time
http://katiebug1.blogspot.com/2014/01/time.html
Sunday, January 5, 2014. Often it seems like there is never enough time, but lately I have loved all the free time I have! I know it won't last, but I've enjoyed having time to. Read, read, read. Work on catching up my FB photo albums and my main blog. Record my thoughts on this blog. Journal (like handwritten, old-fashioned style). Work out with no rush to hurry and be done with it. Go grocery shopping and running little errands with Jack. Find random IG accounts and blogs to look at. Utah, United States.

Sunday, January 5, 2014. Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels might just be one of the best treats in the world. Seriously. I'm glad I hoarded a few extra boxes for after the holidays, since they won't be back at Trader Joe's until next winter. Sad. Maybe they'll bring them back early this year. Often it seems like there is never enough time, but lately I have loved all the free time I have! I know it won't last, but I've enjoyed having time to. Read, read, read. Shoes, Sweets, and Stethoscopes: Utah Love
http://katiebug1.blogspot.com/2013/08/utah-love.html
Wednesday, August 21, 2013. I had a nice visit to Utah this past week (well, mostly nice, until the whole grown-up reality set in of having to find a place to live, etc.) Anyways, here are a few things I learned:. Jack's new job is way cool. Like he is stud for doing what he does. I got to watch them (another pilot and medics) take off on a flight, and it was really cool. He really gets to save lives now! Jack's new coworkers seem like some of the most friendly, nice people he has ever worked with. My 6t...

http://katiebug1.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 11, 2012. Before I kick the bucket. I've never created a formal bucket list, but I do have things that I really, really want to do. And I don't want to forget about them. Here are a few I've thought of recently:. 1) See Florence the Machine live in concert (and Garth Brooks, and Adele). 2) Attend an Olympics event (gymnastics would be amazing). 3) Go shark cage-diving, with Great White Sharks. 5) Pay off all of Jack's heli school student loans (oh wait! We just did that! 6) Own a house.

Shoes, Sweets, and Stethoscopes: November 2011
http://katiebug1.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 13, 2011. This girls needs her sleep. Psychotic/delusional when I'm sleep-deprived and get woken up in the middle of a good sleep. Case in point: One night last week I fell asleep on the couch watching TV (it was boring UFC stuff, so can you blame me? When Jack woke me up an hour later, I was just staring around the room so confused! And do you know what was going through my head? That woke me up, but I was still a little freaked out. We both thought I was broken, ha ha. Nope, st...Momen...

Shoes, Sweets, and Stethoscopes: December 2013
http://katiebug1.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Shout Out to 2013. I really can't help but be grateful for this past year that I've had. Though it wasn't perfect (and of course there were bad times), there were also lots of great memories made, welcome changes, and just lots of good. Here's a look back on some of the highlights and things that happened during my year:. I got a new job with Nevada Health Centers as an RN Care Coordinator. So yeah, I learned some of that, too. :) And it was nice to be able to help out peo...

Shoes, Sweets, and Stethoscopes: December 2011
http://katiebug1.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 12, 2011. After I got home from work today, I asked Jack where all the cranberry orange muffins were that I baked last night. So he tells me that he took them to work today. What! Okay, they were a mix, and they were good but it's not like it was something I baked from scratch. THEN, he tells me that he told everyone that he baked them! Jack: What's so bad about that? Katie: It's a lie, that's who it's bad! And you're taking credit for my work. Jack: But it was an honest lie.
