Hanging with Mrs. Hatfield: September 2014
http://hangingwithmrshatfield.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Hanging with Mrs. Hatfield. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. I've finally had a chance to take time to get "caught up" (even though I don't ever feel fully caught up! We've been spending the last 23 days getting to know each other, learning and practicing our school and classroom rules. It always takes us awhile and sometimes I feel like the wicked witch of the west, but I know that getting our rules and routine set makes for a much smoother year. We have been working on:. Adding and subtracting numbers.

Hanging with Mrs. Hatfield: January 2016
http://hangingwithmrshatfield.blogspot.com/2016_01_01_archive.html
Hanging with Mrs. Hatfield. Monday, January 11, 2016. Each week we have a book study. We try to focus on that book all week long. We've even been incorporating our book studies into art by working on directed drawings for the main character. This week our book study is on Martin Luther King, Jr., so today we drew Dr. King. Throughout the year we have gotten better and better at drawing! I love seeing the creativity in each piece! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Hanging with Mrs. Hatfield: December 2014
http://hangingwithmrshatfield.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Hanging with Mrs. Hatfield. Thursday, December 4, 2014. Switch it Change it! I have decided that we would have a friendly Christmas reading competition. For every 15 minutes that a student reads, they will get an ornament to decorate and hang on a tree outside of our classroom. The person who put the most ornaments up will get something special from me! I hope this helps encourage them to read! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Switch it Change it!

Hanging with Mrs. Hatfield. Thursday, January 22, 2015. I know that we would not be able to accomplish as many things without their support and added help! Thank you to all of you who work with our students, we appreciate it and so do they! Tuesday, January 20, 2015. The students all received a book that Greg Tang wrote and he signed their copy. Read it with your child and solve the problems that it talks about. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Ethereal theme. Powered by Blogger.
