Thursday, October 18, 2012. Charles Lee Ivy. For those of you who know the name debacle, yes, we let Madelyn name the baby :). Oct 15th, 11:45 am, 8 lbs. 3 oz. and 20 inches. Charlie with Dr. Campbell. Clint meets his son! Yummy big sis and baby bro cookies for the hospital. Madelyn is such a proud big sister! Just checking him out :). Madelyn was the first one to comb his hair. and he has a lot! It was so sweet of the nurse to offer to let her do it! And on the back? Time to go home! Trying out the swing.

Thursday, February 21, 2013. Charlie sleeps in his crib for the first time.at 3 months! Good thing Madelyn doesn't remember that she only spent 2 nights in our bedroom! I lay him down awake. And he falls asleep on his own! He has done great sleeping in his room! First time in this contraption. I thought he was going to be too floppy still, but he loved it! Madelyn is such a great helper! I took pictures while she changed his diaper completely on her own. Aftervery proud of herself :). A few cute photos:.

Wednesday, November 14, 2012. But first some other pics. Madelyn got her hair chopped off! First time ice skating! She and Clint went while I hung out with Charlie and took pics. She loved it and wants to go again! Charlie watching the ice skating. So cute in his towel after bath. My cousin, or "Aunt Heather", came to town for the sip 'n see and got to stay for several days! Tuesday, August 14, 2012. We went to Beavers Bend State Park in Oklahoma with the Obenhaus family. They have two little girls and Rachel is pregnant also so we had the same vacation constraints :) We decided on an outdoorsy trip, well in a nice cabin that is! When we first drove up. Monday, July 23, 2012. In June, we went to San Antonio for Kyle and Kristy's wedding! The wedding, as well as the whole long weekend, was lots of fun. We really enjoyed seeing so much family! Wednesday, September 26, 2012. We had Madelyn's party a couple of weeks early in case her baby brother decided to show up! She had a princess themed swimming party and had a blast! Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Madelyn has been in her big bed for at least a month now. It was such an easy transition. Thankfully she doesn't ever get out! There was lots of excitement the day we took the crib apart and moved it into the nursery. The mattress became a trampoline. Trying out the new bed! She now loves to play in the crib! Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Madelyn's Music Recital and Pre-K Graduation. She had a little solo on this part :). Her teacher, Ms. Anita. The girls performed a princess dance! We had an Easter egg hunt with friends! Then spent Easter weekend in Lubbock. Charlie was mostly dying his hands! And he thought the clean-up was the best part! Friday, May 2, 2014.
