We started windsurfing on Hatteras in the early 70's. The constant wind and flat water makes Hatteras a fantastic place to windsurf. Our Sail Shop is located right on the sound side providing easy access to excellent side on shore winds. 35 per half day (4 hours). 195 for the week. Multiple day rates are $35 per day. Includes 1 1/2 hours of instruction followed by 3 additional hours of rental. Group (2 ): $55 (2 people sharing a rig). Sailboards and Paddle boards. Masts, Booms, and Sails.

Check out all our new surf gear by visiting our online Store! Private: $95 for 2 hours of one on one instruction. Group (2 ): $75 per person for 2 hours of instruction, 1 instructor per 2 students. Beginner Surf Lesson Overview. Board and Water Safety. We spend the first few minutes of the lesson going over rip currents, water safety, and how to handle your board safely when you are in the water. Next on land we practice placement on the board, paddle technique, and popping up on your feet.
