Saturday, 29 March 2014. The last 6 months I've been getting back in touch with music that's coming out of Africa (we have some exciting things to show you on Goon Club. This year) granted after my initial exposure to Kwaito and afro house I really slept on everything coming out of Africa for 2 years. Thursday, 23 February 2012. Really love this release from new comer Emma. Distilling grime and odd percussive rhythms, akin to kwaito, with dreamy synth lines, almost faded with age. The video is the perfect accompaniment to the track, sharing the aged and faded aesthetic. Hats off to the Wavey Tones design team!
