I had an awakening last week. one of those rare instances in which the "universe" serves up a massive curveball and bam. disillusionment. followed by devastation. followed by relief. relief, because if everything i believe about my life at any given moment was always 100% true, i'd eventually run out of things to investigate. i'd paint myself right into a corner and then what? I'm reading harry potter. So, yes. as you might have imagined i'm one of those people who has refused to read harry potter. out of spite. spite for the herd, the norm, the mindless and trendy; the everyone else but me. turns out my resistance was not only. I've always assumed that i'm open-minded, and i continued to assume this even after i discovered that the term "open-minded" was not synonymous with "liberal". but i guess open-mindedness is bigger than that; knowledge is one thing, but just.

Twenty-ten and two weeks. You've probably heard enough about 2010 by now. So much so that the newness has lost its luster. And to mention it now is just, you know. moot. But that's why i waited. i didn't post anything about. Twenty-ten everyday for the past two weeks. I guess we can go ahead and call that procrastination,.
