Havering bookworm: Full or Empty - which is the best?
http://haveringbookworm.blogspot.com/2010/10/full-or-empty-which-is-best.html
Yes, I know I am not a worm - but I am a wyrm! Thursday, 28 October 2010. Full or Empty - which is the best? I just cant decide.is it better to see a display thats nearly empty? It means the books on it were popular and people wanted to take them home. On the other hand, it looks a little unloved and sad. Or - is this better? Lots of books to choose from, great selection. Havering bookworm: Recycling Workshop
http://haveringbookworm.blogspot.com/2011/01/recycling-workshop.html
Yes, I know I am not a worm - but I am a wyrm! Tuesday, 18 January 2011. Enter the delightful Libbi! Libbi is from our recycling charity - recycle for your community. She was great, we spoke about what could and couldn't go into the orange sacks we have in Havering. Josh's mum has been a bit "over-enthusiastic" with her recycling and was glowing a very unattractive shade of red at the end of this bit! Of course, after all that chatter we had to get Libbi a nice cuppa! These are some of the things we made!
Havering bookworm: June 2010
http://haveringbookworm.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Yes, I know I am not a worm - but I am a wyrm! Wednesday, 23 June 2010. I promised Michael, over at South Hornchurch Library, that I would put these photos up if England got through the group matches! AND here they are! Obviously, to start with, I had mixed loyalties - coming from America but living here. However, I decided to support the same team as Michael - he is waaaaay taller than me! See what I mean? This is Michael being patriotic! This is Michael after the match with USA! He has a biiiiiig smile!

BUT - they got very cross when I told them to Josh's Mum! I was really very sad - but I promised I wouldnt do it again - so they both gave me a lovely cuddle to cheer me up! So many things to learn! http://nothingbutmonkey.blogspot.com/2010/09/my-home-office.html
Friday, 17 September 2010. THIS is where I work at Josh's Mum's Laptop. It really needs a good clean you know - I have found all manner of things in between the keys - in fact, when I am hungry, this is the first place I check for something to eat! I am just shutting down Pop Pops page - Josh's Mum was looking at it a minute ago! NOW I can get on with doing some PROPER work! All creatures great and small! Thanks Pop Pops - we missed Monkey Monkey too!
Monkey, Monkey: Wishful thinking.....
http://nothingbutmonkey.blogspot.com/2010/09/wishful-thinking.html
Thursday, 9 September 2010. Did I ever mention that we live in a little cul-de-sac - or a CLOSE as Josh's Mum calls it. Or a BANJO as one of the neighbours calls it! Its kind of a little circle at the end of a road - so actually, I suppose it DOES look like a banjo! Its relatively quiet down here and a lovely place to just sit and chill. Until the music man comes with his van! Thanks for calling by. All creatures great and small! Thanks Pop Pops - we missed Monkey Monkey too!
Create and Cut: February 2012
http://createandcut.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
A blog dedicated to using computer driven craft cutters to support production of artistic endeavors. Sunday, February 19, 2012. A great Example of 3D Printing and PopPop/Grandchildren Quality Time! 3D Printing has been around for a while for businesses. These days, some shoe manufacturers won't manufacture a line of shoes until they've have shown the buyers of the bigger stores that shoe in a 3D model. Here are two views of a sample that I saw on my visit to the 3D Systems headquarters. It was amazing to...
Create and Cut: Paper and 3D Printing Move Closer Together
http://createandcut.blogspot.com/2013/09/paper-and-3d-printing-move-closer.html
A blog dedicated to using computer driven craft cutters to support production of artistic endeavors. Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Paper and 3D Printing Move Closer Together. If I learned anything from the paper crafting community is that creativity, love and making people feel special is what this community is all about. I love what you do and I love what you do for those you care about. The more I use Cubify Sculpt and 3D printing, the more I am convinced that the very passion and skills you now use t...
Create and Cut: The eCraft tearing problems revisited
http://createandcut.blogspot.com/2012/03/ecraft-tearing-problems-revisited.html
A blog dedicated to using computer driven craft cutters to support production of artistic endeavors. Thursday, March 8, 2012. The eCraft tearing problems revisited. I have watched from the sidelines as the tearing problems persist. Here is a slow motion video that demonstrates exactly what is happening just before your paper rips. Notice how the blade lifts the paper! One of my goals with my new 3D printer is to come up with a solution to the tearing problems if at all possible. I'm going to attempt ...
Create and Cut: Show me the love!
http://createandcut.blogspot.com/2012/03/show-me-love.html
A blog dedicated to using computer driven craft cutters to support production of artistic endeavors. Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Show me the love! And, I'll show you a CONTEST! One of my greatest experiences has been becoming acquainted with the craft community through my early blogs about the eCraft cutter. What I came away with out of that experience is that this community does what it does out of a deep love of family, friends and creativity. Here is what I'd like you to do. The first My Robot Nation cert...
Create and Cut: The eCraft has Landed - Bad News and Good News
http://createandcut.blogspot.com/2010/08/ecraft-has-landed-bad-news-and-good.html
A blog dedicated to using computer driven craft cutters to support production of artistic endeavors. Wednesday, August 11, 2010. The eCraft has Landed - Bad News and Good News. Well the eCraft has arrived and I have already shot a very bad video with a Bloggie Camera. Now, why, you ask, would someone that professes to have been in the video industry for 15 years use a Bloggie, of all things, to create their first video of the eCraft. But, alas, it is not to be. As you can see, the directions for operatin...
Create and Cut: The eCraft's "Clicking Sound"
http://createandcut.blogspot.com/2010/08/ecrafts-clicking-sound.html
A blog dedicated to using computer driven craft cutters to support production of artistic endeavors. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. The eCraft's "Clicking Sound". Anyone that has seen any video of the eCraft cutting knows that it makes a distinctive clicking sound. So, what is that anyway? Then there are the clicks that occur while the eCraft is actually cutting a shape. I believe these clicks tell us how many TABS are being created for the shape. Actually, what sound like a single click while it's cu...I've ...

A blog dedicated to using computer driven craft cutters to support production of artistic endeavors. Monday, January 9, 2012. Same Community - New Direction! Well, it's not really a new direction for me. But, it will seem so to you. You know that my heart has a passion for creative people like you. And, I hope that you know that I REALLY want to do those things that will be a positive force in your ability to show your love through your creative skills. For many years I have dreamed of personal 3D printe...

Just another WordPress.com site. Today, do one good thing. June 1, 2010. So, this metal whistle caught my eye. It is from a site called Falling Whistles. And it was about child soldiers. So, gather your courage and read about Falling Whistles. If you are like me, you will feel outrage and impotence. You will feel gratitude for the safety of your children or children that you know, and grief for those who have never had the safety yours have. Good overcomes evil.
