I Think I Tripped Over A Rabbit Hole. I could not believe how quickly and thoroughly it had resolved my pain. That evening, I was typing a comment to someone on my Facebook page, when suddenly, my left arm developed a mind of its own. Bap! That I have FM and that the doctor had prescribed this medication for it, based on the FD...

I was doubting my ability to get ready in time anyway, so he got no argument from me. At least I was able to do my daily bible reading. And now, I'm off to take some medicine, as my neck, left shoulder and elbow are starting to complain at me, and I want to be ready for a phone call I'm expecting this afternoon. I'm Having A Fibro Day. The journey to understanding fibromyalgia: Getting diagnosed, accepting, learning about and coming to understand the disease. Monday, May 16, 2011. We Interrupt This Program. Who would have thought that it would take almost eight months to get another blog entry posted? Just another American smashing his way through Japan. January 25, 2011. Being a new father has taught me a lot about myself, and the world. And most importantly, babies. Most of us already know that babies are new, precious, fragile lifeforms. They have to be clothed and fed and bathed and all that. They also taste delicious with a nice guacamole-based salsa. But perhaps the most important thing I’ve learned about babies is that they’re fundamentally stupid. Why did I come to this staggering conclusion?

The interesting thing about Kyoto/Osaka is that unless a natural disaster strikes us specifically (such as the Hanshin Earthquake. But the building is fine, please go back t...

Having adventures | Another 20-something, moving across the country, keeping a blog
Another 20-something, moving across the country, keeping a blog. I baked sourdough bread. A few times, even, since my last blog post. It’s always turned out well, except it’s not sour, just bread-y. So, my sourdough isn’t sour, but it is made of dough. And it makes a damn good grilled cheese. Back to the rea...
