Life with the Lords: There's 180 days of home school...
http://thelordfamily.blogspot.com/2012/07/theres-180-days-of-home-school.html
Tuesday, July 31, 2012. There's 180 days of home school. Yeah, I tried to go with the Phineas and Ferb theme song.and it didn't really work. But, I will say that home school is sometimes like P&F.where I am Dofenshmirtz and I trap Perry (a.k.a. my students) in some sort of ineffective trap in order to fill their young brains with knowledge. Hmm, maybe the analogy really isn't getting anywhere. I know that every day can't be "fun," but I want us to be able to enjoy it most of the time. I got out my x-acto...

Life with the Lords: February 2012
http://thelordfamily.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 13, 2012. Look around, leaves are brown. And and and.could the sky possibly be a hazy shade of winter? I know I'm glued to trying to discern the meaning of meteorological models that I have no grasp of understanding. In the hopes.oh the hopes.of winter. I have several posts that I need to make from our Disney adventure- scrapbook pages and race reports. But, I feel like I can't do those race reports before I do the other two races that I did in May and October. Btw, that is not. Well 2 t...

The Truluck's: Last Day of School
http://treyandkelly.blogspot.com/2011/06/last-day-of-school.html
Saturday, June 4, 2011. Last Day of School. Alicia and Zachary finished school last Tuesday. They both had a wonderful year going to Charleston Baptist Church every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Alicia loves her friends and can tell me all about them. She also lets me know who went in to time out each day! She says that she has never been to time out at school! Doesn't want to take the chance that she will sweat! Guess I need to hire a professional! Labels: Last Day of School 2011. Zachary at 21 months.

Life with the Lords: An Unexpected Run
http://thelordfamily.blogspot.com/2014/08/an-unexpected-run.html
Sunday, August 10, 2014. A post about how a long run turned into a teachable moment. Last week's ten mile run was rain delayed- torrential downpour led to slippery trails, so I concluded the run at 5 miles and then finished the remaining 5 on Sunday. Not as planned, but it works. This weekend was looking to be a repeat, weather wise, of last week. I set out Saturday afternoon to complete 12 miles. Why are you doing this? Who do you think you are? In the last week, I've had two reminders of how fleeting l...

Life with the Lords: January 2013
http://thelordfamily.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 02, 2013. Eight years.it’s really hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that I haven’t seen or spoken to my mother in eight years. A lot has happened in eight years.two presidential elections, two summer Olympics. Law school graduation and marriage for Russ. And to top it all off, you now have SEVEN total grandchildren. Wow! I often wonder what it would be like.we miss you so much. I grieve the memories that we didn’t have a chance to make. Posted by The Lord Family.

Life with the Lords: October 2011
http://thelordfamily.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 07, 2011. Friday Phone Dump, edition 1. I've seen this done on a couple of blogs I read: Friday Phone Dump. It's a good way to keep up with the photos you've been taking with your phone. Godspeed, Steve Jobs. Thank you for your innovation and creativity. And thank you for your kind comments on the grief post. Thank you. Here is a little collage that I made with Picasa of the highlights of the past week as seen through my phone. 12 Love's baby soft. Am I 12? 13 My little puggle! Well, here...

The Truluck's: July 2010
http://treyandkelly.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 22, 2010. Zachary at 10 1/2 months. Zachary is a busy, busy boy! He started crawling and pulling to a stand at 9 1/2 months. Life has been very different since! He leaves a trail of stuff every where he goes. He LOVES emptying and tearing things apart. Look what I found in the diaper bag! Fun in our pool! Hmmmm How to climb. How to climb. Didn't make it, but aren't I cute? Labels: Zachary at 10.5 months. So it has been a VERY long time since the last post! We made it to the beach a few tim...

Carron Crew: Talking with Daddy
http://carroncrew.blogspot.com/2010/05/talking-with-daddy.html
Susan, Madeline, and Luke. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. She also likes to verbally say what she is doing. Then we have to acknowledge that we heard her or she continues to say it even louder! She played at a friends house today with a girl her age and then they also have a baby girl, which Madeline apparently spent most of her time "watching after the baby". I am hoping she'll be helpful with our new little one due in October. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Chris, Mandy, and Avery.
