My Sacred Vocation: Mary & Gabriel
http://the3rsonline.blogspot.com/2012/12/mary-gabriel.html
Saturday, December 22, 2012. The girls wanted to reenact the birth of Jesus for us today, so Macy was director, Lily played Mary and Ava was Gabriel and the inn keeper. Joseph decided to play Legos instead, so it was what you would consider a "loosely based" rendition. Telling Mary the good news is quite humorous. The director was not amused. Merry Christmas to all of you. Mary is looking very gypsy/colorful like. I bet she looked just like your girls! Beautiful and full (literally) of promise! For the M...

My Sacred Vocation: February 2013
http://the3rsonline.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 10, 2013. For most of the day, my hubby took 4 of the kids out of the house while Macy and I did some major cooking. We stocked the freezer with 3 breakfasts, 17 suppers, and 4 loves of bread. We were exhausted by the end but I loved spending the time alone with her, helping her learn to cook and getting to find out what's on her mind. Notice Barbie photo-bombing the picture with her leg? Macy has glasses now. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Email me at amy1216@me.com.

My Sacred Vocation: June 2012
http://the3rsonline.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 25, 2012. May was a whirlwind of activity. Along with all the end of school functions, we had several trips that occupied our weekends. First was a family reunion. My dad's immediate family all met in town for a picnic at the park. We've been able to do this three years in a row (I think) and I hope we can continue! The next weekend, we travelled to Oklahoma to spend the weekend with my parents and brother and his family for mom and dad's 40th wedding anniversary. Ahhh, Macy. She has thi...

My Sacred Vocation: July 2012
http://the3rsonline.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 30, 2012. Sticker charts. They work awesome-like for Lily, mediocre for Jack and Ava. Hoping this will get us through the rest of summer, earning a sticker when they do something asked of them without throwing a fit. Lily already knows she wants to shop at "probley wobbly" (hobby lobby) for her treat. : smooch: I wish she could talk this way forever but I'm sure it's not as cute at 16. Links to this post. Friday, July 27, 2012. Links to this post. So we come to this summer. The other nig...

My Sacred Vocation: January 2013
http://the3rsonline.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Momma, come outside and take LOTS of pictures of me playing in the snow! At 7:45am, little miss declared that she was going outside to play in the snow. I tried to persuade her to wait until it was warmer but she would not have it. Not only was she going, she was convinced I was going with her to document it. "You can just stand right here momma, on the porch." I protested heavily, but how long can you resist this face? Links to this post. Tuesday, January 29, 2013. And a cou...

My Sacred Vocation: November 2012
http://the3rsonline.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Fun in any given bathroom. When he's not busy entertaining himself in the dog's water bowl, Henry likes to sneak off to the bathroom. Any will do, he knows the way and can get there very rapidly. He also has down the stealth mode of transportation-the "if I quietly sneak off I can buy more time" approach that Ava adopted early in life. Having a somewhat on the bigger side family means there is about a 90% chance that someone (no names, eh-hm kids? All joking aside, we do rea...

My Sacred Vocation: My baby is one
http://the3rsonline.blogspot.com/2013/03/my-baby-is-one.html
Friday, March 8, 2013. My baby is one. Henry is such a blessing to our family, as all of our kids have been. Each child brings something to the family dynamics that you didn't even know was missing, like a little more spice or some rowdiness in case things were a little too quiet. I think Henry was our balance.and while he runs me ragged most days going from one hazard or no-no to the next, he brings us all joy. Happy Birthday little H. Big Blue. Jett. Little monster. Bubby.
